ProcessThe first thing you do to develop the film into an actual photo is to put the film in the negative carrier. Then, adjust the tray where the paper goes in so it's aligned. After it's aligned, you can adjust the focus and how low or high the light is. After that, you can put the paper in and set the timer to the amount of time you want the paper to be exposed (5 seconds is the common amount). Once you've exposed the paper, you can submerge it into the developer until it looks how you want it to look like. After you take it out of the developer, place it into the stop bath for about 10 seconds. Then, you put the paper into the fixer for 2 minutes so it can neutralize the last two chemicals. Once those 2 minutes are up, you can put it in the holding bath to get the chemicals off, and then let it dry by hanging it up.
